Our  registered  Clinical Establishment Partners offers services to persons whose challenges bring them to the attention of criminal and family courts. We have assisted a Significant numbers of clients who are immersed in proceedings related to juvenile delinquency and adult offending, child custody, divorce and other. Offender Assessment: We undertake offender assessments for the purposes of bail applications, pretrial procedures (assessments for diversion), as well as sentencing purposes (pre-sentence reports). Victim impact assessments: For us victim impact assessments are important in the criminal justice process, not just to present mitigating or aggravating circumstances relevant to sentencing but also to create the opportunities for victims’ stories to be heard and to heal. To this end we are fully supportive of the aims of restorative justice namely, healing victims’ wounds, restoring offenders to law-abiding lives, and repairing harm done to interpersonal relationships and the community.

The purpose of a parenting capacity assessment is to understand the nature of the identified risk; both the strengths and weaknesses in parenting, relative to the identified child/ren, and to recommend appropriate actions to ensure the child/ren remains safe and their needs are met.  .  In our assessment of parenting capacity, we consider the parents’ ability to provide good enough parenting in the long term

Care and contact assessments are comprehensive assessments done to determine the best care and contact arrangements between children and all co-holders of parental rights. In doing these, we undertake to perform a competent, fair and comprehensive evaluation of the child/children concerned the parents or guardians and the extended family to determine care and contact arrangements that would be in the best interest of the child. Every professional working with children and young people should ensure that the child’s voice is heard, considered and taken into account on matters that affects them and those that impacts on their families.

Supervised visitation allows parents to have parenting time with their children in a safe and neutral environment. Visits can help support the development of parenting skills and assist in rebuilding a healthy parent-child relationship. Visits are supervised by a trained social worker who observe visits and can provide a report on the quality of the visits and visit activities.
